Office Manager/Legal Assistant At Burnett Law
I was born in Morehead City, North Carolina and raised in Newport, North Carolina. I attended West Carteret High School. I lived in Chatsworth, GA from 1993-1997 and moved back into the area in 2003.
I worked in a variety of positions in the carpet and restaurant industries from 1993 until 2011 when I joined Ms. Burnett’s practice of law. At Burnett Law, I am both legal assistant and office manager. I have prepared simple pleadings, completed forms, coordinated scheduling for mediation and court dates. I correspond with clients and opposing parties. Part of my duties are keeping books and I have primarily handled accounts receivable but have also done payroll and expense entry into the bookkeeping system. I’m a notary public and a signing agent.
I have 3 biological children, 4 bonus children 2 of which are my nieces. I’m a grandmother. I am the adopted daughter of Nancy Burnett.
